IMMERSE YOURSELF IN AN INSPIRING

Course summary

At the end of this intensive course students will have developed specific skills designed to pave the way to the world of Fashion System. The syllabus covers the basics of Fashion Made in Italy related to Art and Culture, Fashion Communication, Luxury and Fashion Management, Fashion Design (Branding), Fashion Styling and Visual Merchandising.

The programme comprises a blend of academic expertise and real world experience in the fashion sector. The first part of the course envisages the participation in the four-day events of Altaroma, an important Italian fashion’s week. The second part consists of lectures, lab classes, presentations, guest speakers, visits to fashion houses and shops.
Furthermore, the Summer School offers some must-see tour of Rome and leisure activities. Students will have an inspiring opportunity to explore the Italian history and culture and its influence in the world of Fashion

Accomodation

Students will be accommodated at The Church Village Hotel in Via di Torre Rossa 94, located at a walking distance from Link Campus and the main local attractions and well connected with public transportation.
The school’s main entrance is in Via del Casale di San Pio V, 44.
All participants will be provided with breakfast at the hotel and lunch offered at the University’s Art Café Bar from 2nd July to 8th July.

Who can apply

• Students over 18 years old, professionally interested in the field of Fashion;
• Fluent or near-fluent English language speakers, as all classes are taught in English.

Fee: EUR 1,700
The fee includes: tuition, participation in Altaroma fashion show, guided visits, airport shuttle services, access to the library and Internet access, scheduled cultural excursions, accommodation from 26th June to 8th July (breakfast included), lunch at LCU dining room from 2nd July to 8th July, Certificate of Completion.
The fee does not include: travel costs, additional meals, local transportation and other costs not listed above.
Payment for the summer school is made in two instalments: a deposit payment of 30% is required three days from the date of enrolment and the outstanding sum is required by the commencement date.
