Founded in 1999 as the Italian branch of the University of Malta, Link Campus University became an independent institution in 2011, officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education. Today, it is a dynamic international university located in the heart of Rome.
LCU was created with a clear mission: to bring together students from different countries and cultures in a truly global academic environment. This international vision remains at the core of the university’s identity.
Combining the strengths of the English educational model with the richness of Italian academic tradition, LCU offers most of its undergraduate and postgraduate programs in English. Its Master’s programs stand out for their academic rigor and strong interdisciplinary, multicultural approach.
The campus is set within the historic Manor of San Pio V, commissioned in 1567 by Pope Pius V as his summer residence. Just minutes from the city center and next to Vatican City, the estate — once owned by the noble Chigi family — now hosts a vibrant academic community.
